Urban Decay Deluxe Palette

I got this for my birthday from my sister and Cameo. So excited to make a review about this. Aren't the colours just spectacular???

UD Deluxe Palette
Here is the Urban Decay 15th anniversary pallette just to compare the colours...

Swatches:

     Fishnet, Honey and Ransom

    Graffiti, Zero and Peace

Shag, Scratch and Underground... I took these photos twice as I couldn't get a true image of the colours. So one is with more light. The 2 dots on top of Shag and Scratch are the inglot eyeshadows at are very close in colour to these.
Scratch is very close to inglot's #397
Shag is very close to inglot's #407.

    Picture of the pallet's cover:

Overall, the pigmentation is great. Normal UD standards. However, Zero is a bit patchy. I heart the colours in this pallet. I'm a big fan of Urban Decay.

Illamasqua Bronzer Duo Review

It's my birthday month! Yipee! gives me an excuse to splurge a little bit ;-) SO! I ventured to Myer in Sydney to the Ilamasqua counter. "Makeup for your alter ego" is their tag line.

I wanted was curious about Illamasqua, so I decided to try it out. Then I found these Bronzer Duo. I wanted see how a pearly finished bronzer would look during day time. I was a bit hesitant at first because I'm not exactly a fan of shimmery bronzers.

The packaging looks quite nice, however overtime, fingerprints appear. I'm not too bothered by this though. I like the shape of it too!

When I swatched these on my hand, it is not very pigmented. I had to swipe my fingers several times to get this colour out (see picture)

Illamasqua Bronzer Duo Swatches
Glint is a very light subtle peach highlighter, very pretty. Somehow the powder formula is very intact that it's difficult to get a lot of product on your brush. Which is ok I suppose, you don't want too much product on your face. It is buildable. Burnish is bronze with peach undertones. Both appear really lovely on my cheeks, very fine... I was quite surprised at how natural it looks on. the bronzer doesn't look shimmery at all.

I'm comparing Burnish with this MAC Mineralize powder in Medium Deep. This is what I normally use for contouring. As you can see, the shimmer is not that much in comparison to a fully Matte powder.

I'm happy with this product! will re-purchase and recommend to my friends.
